The UltraLAN fiber splice sleeves are specifically designed for the mechanical and environmental protection of fused fiber splices. The splice protectors consist of clear heat shrinkable tubing to allow for visual location of the splice prior to heat shrinking with a pre-installed stainless steel (1.5mm) reinforcing rod.
